Admin Header and Footer Details
After an administrator logs into Universal Policy, the header provides several details about the currently logged in administrator:
- The top line displays a welcome message identifying the administrator and the administrator's role type. If the admin is limited to read-only privileges, the text read only appears after the admin's name.
- For agency policy admins and account policy admins, the last line of the header indicates the agency or account associated with that administrator.
- For agency group admins, the last line of the header notes the selected agency after the admin has selected an agency on the Administer Agency Policy Data page.
- The last line also indicates whether the admin is logged into any environment other than production. For example, preprod displays if the admin is logged into the pre-production environment. No environment is noted when the admin is logged into the production environment.
In addition, as of release 17.3, the footer displays the user's current version of Universal Policy, as circled below.
The example screen below shows the header details for an agency policy administrator logged into the production environment, as no environment is indicated before the agency name.
The example screen below indicates the current admin's permissions are set to read-only. In this example, the header shows that an account policy admin has read-only permissions and is logged into the pre-production environment, indicated by the preprod in preprod account.
The next example shows the header details for an agency policy administrator logged into the pre-production environment, as indicated by the prepod in preprod agency.
In the case when an agency group admin has logged in but has not yet selected an agency on the Administer Agency Policy Data page, no agency information is displayed in the header, as shown next. The header information updates once the admin selects an agency, and updates each time the admin selects a different agency.
